Well...Here goes!

Let's see...where do I begin?  I guess this is blogging?? I am sitting here at home not really sure where to start.  I guess since this is the beginning I will start...ummm...at the beginning.

(I will keep it short) I met my hunny, Chad, while I was in college at Texas Tech University and we dated for a year and a half before we got married.  June 5, 1999 I became Mrs. Chad Vestal.  Over a year and a half after that we were blessed with our first baby boy, Griffin Cale Vestal (G1), born February 19, 2001!  We continued living in Lubbock until October 30, 2001 when made a leap of faith and moved to Clyde America (my home town).  The leap of faith part was that we had no jobs and just trusted God to provide.  Chad tried to find something other than garage doors, but God was obviously steering him in that direction.  He had worked at the Overhead Door Company in Lubbock prior to our move and with a shining referral from the owner of OHD  in Lbk he was hired by Overhead Door of Abilene.  I took a part-time job at the little bead store in Abilene until a full-time position at The People's State Bank opened up and I was hired.  While in Clyde we received our second beautiful blessing, Gavin Allen Vestal (G2), born April 8, 2004!! I will someday "blog" about this amazing little man (probably all of my amazing kids) all by himself.  Sometime after this the bank was purchased by a larger bank in Abilene, First Financial Bank.  But, God was working something out that would change our lives and location all over again...this is where it gets good!!  I don't really remember the specifics, but the opportunity for Chad to manage a garage door company was offered to us...in the Hill Country of Texas!  YES!  We'll take it!  Crazy that God put this on the table for us.  We had actually prayed that someday we would end up in this beautiful part of Texas.  So, I left my job at the bank and became a stay-at-home mommy, he left his stable garage door instillation job and we moved our little family to Boerne, Texas, October 1, 2006!!  By the way, the company was not established...so, he helped do that, Hill Country Overhead Door.  We found a wonderful church family (Nineteen:Ten Church, formally Watermark Church) to belong to and a great group of friends to raise our two boys with...it was really great.  However, God had bigger plans for our family...this is not just figuratively speaking either!  January 26, 2010 Greyson Noah Vestal (G3) joined Team Vestal!  Well, that was crazy, but as you most of you know...it only gets crazier.  You see, Chad and I are only children and with the 5 yr age gap between G2 and G3, we felt that one more baby might be in the cards.  So, we prayed about it, and like with all our other leaps of faith, we gave it to God and said, if this is Your will, we will welcome it...September 22, 2010 we welcomed our first baby girl into this world, Gillian Claire Vestal (G4)!!  This June we celebrated 12 blessed years of marriage.  So, that's the short version of it and the beginning of my blogging!
